What is Toughened Safety Glass?
Safety Features
Toughened glass, also known as tempered glass, is up to 5 times stronger than ordinary glass. It's manufactured by heating the glass to approximately 680°C and then rapidly cooling it, enhancing its strength and heat resistance.
Unlike standard glass, toughened glass is designed for safety. If it breaks, it shatters into small pellets instead of large sharp shards, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
